About Señor Sisig (SF Mission)

If anyone has redefined contemporary street food in San Francisco, it’s longtime pals Evan Kidera and Gil Payumo’s Señor Sisig fusion food truck. With their special twist on a Filipino happy hour dish sisig, Señor Sisig took the portability of their favorite Mexican taqueria dishes and melded the two together to reflect their diverse palette and down-home appeal. Located at 990 Valencia St, San Francisco, CA 94110, Señor Sisig (SF Mission) operates as a filipino restaurant serving San Francisco in California. This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 11 am–9 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. San Francisco is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and San Francisco follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Senor sisig has good food. However, on recent visits the consistency has been off. I like this mission location since they can do the chimichanga option. I always get the sisig California burrito with the pork or tocino. The fries in the burrito are crispy and piping hot. The meat and rice are 🔥. The rice is garlicky. The sisig wings are amazing. Spicy and very salt and vinegar tangy. The Mexican coke is 5$ for a bottle which is exorbitant. Service is friendly and quick. Overall with defo be back.

I ordered three sisig tacos—pork and chicken—from this chain Mexican restaurant. Overall, they were quite good, considering the price. The total for three tacos was around $19. They have a seating area in the back and a bar-style table in front of the restaurant, which makes for a nice dining experience. However, the service could have been better. They have a self-checkout option where you can place your order, or you can ask an employee to take it. When I went to place my order, the employee seemed disinterested and annoyed.

Fantastic Filipino-style burritos with plenty of flavor and deliciousness. Ingredients are freshly prepared. Each burrito is big and plenty filling. Service is fast and efficient.

We stopped by here because my partner loves their burritos and used to walk sometimes miles to their food truck to get one when he lived in SF. We split one and it was more than enough. The burrito is the size of a small toddler's torso. I'm not joking lol. A kid was holding a wrapped burrito and it was as long as his lil torso 😂😭 The food here is stellar. The ingredients were great quality and the flavor was wonderful. Definitely worth checking out 💖

10/10 spot! Great food I got the crunch a dilla with pork and it was the perfect taste between savory and sweet. The kiosk allows you to customize your ingredients and sauces how you like. Very present and kind workers there to welcome you and ask any questions to. Also! A lovely backyard area to sit and eat. Such beautiful paintings and decor have been multiple times and never disappoints. Very much recommended stopping by and enjoying the vibes. :) <3
